Yes I know Gettleman is the goat GM. He inherited a team void of talent and poor coaching and his smarts led us to a 17-1 season and Super Bowl appearance.

See Toomers post above.

With Gettleman-Rivera, we won.

With Hurney-Fox and/or Hurney-Rivera, we win a little bit early but get worse the longer it goes on.

It's not a difficult pattern to see, and all the spin and excuses in the world won't change it.

I'll see how this season turns out before I give any credence to that so-called pattern.

Oh sure. It's not like Rivera's in his ninth year as a coach, Hurney's in his fifteenth season as a GM or they've already had four seasons together.

Heck, we hardly know anything about them :Eyes_Emoji_42x42:

Hurney 2.0: 9-11

Gettleman 2.0: 7-13

Hurney 2.0 > Gettleman 2.0 (or less sucky)

Hurney inherited a 6-10 team from Gettleman and got them to 11-5 in his first season back.

It’s pretty easy to paint any narrative you want when you ignore nuance.

The 11-5 team was a Gettleman team. Hurney came in at training camp.

We will be a better organization with both behind us regardless.

Or facts?

Hurney took over an 11-5 team. The ONLY moves he made actually hurt the team for the 2017 season. Gano/Butker and KB. One cost us an extra 3M(that year) and we went into playoffs with a practice squad at WR.

Gettleman took over the 2nd worst team in the NFL with hug cap issues. And has still managed to stay within 2 games with complete opposite circumstances.

I guess nuance is whatever you want it to be?

Cam had his best games after KB got traded try again.

That guy has more Super Bowls than losing seasons over a 20 year span, so yeah I'll take that.

Here's a challenge for you: Convince me that Hurney and Rivera are a great combination using only their win-loss record (reminder: 2017 doesn't go in their column since her knee wasn't hired till training camp).

Aaaaaannnnd...Go!

To be fair and accurate (in both directions) Marty didn't initiate the Benjamin trade. Brandon Beane did.

The eyeball test this team is as deep and talented as I can remember. Again if we get solid Qb play, I feel we can challenge anyone in the NFC this season.

Again, using only their win-loss record. Your opinion isnt part of that.
