He really wasn't though. If I remember correctly he only had one injury throughout his entire college career, and I don't even think that one was major.

Still, Morgan's just one example, and I guess it's not terribly surprising. Even the best college teams in the country is only going to have a relative few truly elite players. When you get to the NFL, even the worst player in the league still played at a high enough level to make it to the pros.

Some guys just physically can't take the pounding.

I am talking about the thing that ultimately ended his career, those concussions. My point being we will likely never know how many he had in college because the football culture has largely always been that you recover for a few plays and then get back in there. Maybe he never got a concussion at Miami but maybe he had quite a few.

Technically just being a little woozy after a hit is a concussion symptom but it happens all the time. Certainly happened to me when I played but I've never had a concussion.

Far as I (or anybody, honestly) know, Morgan never did either till he got to the pros. But again, Morgan is only one example. There are plenty of guys who manage to stay completely healthy until they get to the pros and start hitting bigger, faster people on a regular basis.

Yeah, that is kind of what I mean. Those "small" concussions are cumulative damage. I don't know that it had as much to do with bigger, stronger athletes in the NFL as just the steady progress of that damage. 

Either way, we know what the ultimate result was. That is what I am concerned about for Little.

Don't know.

We do know that it happened within just a few weeks of the first one, though.

That's the part that scares me.
