if we win the next two games i don't want him coming back, not until we lose.   but that won't happen.  soon as he's ready, no matter what, they'll put him in.

Read Sacas thread. I really dont think people realize because of Cam being hurt how much better he is when healthy then Allen. 8 years in the league vs 2...Cam knows the game a whole lot better and when the foot is healed will make all the throws and reads including ones that Allen doesn't make. Allen is a amazing backup Qb possibly one of the best in the league but he is a backup.

look, i don't know if i agree with you or not.  we have no idea if cam can play without being a running qb also.  its made up for his lack of accuracy.   he was doing better last year, but he couldn't throw deep before the watt hit and it was starting to be figured out.  his td/int ratio is pretty bad.   it would suggest he can't be a pocket passer, but i'm willing to give him a chance - and i have more on my mind than this season with him.   the looming contract.  we need to see him a whole year be able to perform and stay healthy before resigning him - in my opinion.   i have no idea if he can be better than allen honestly.   saca's thread moves the argument into the old 'black guy can't play qb' narrative.  that's not the narrative.  the question is can he be consistently accurate, not can he make the right read, and can he up his tempo and quit causing clock issues. you and i have no idea if he can do it, or if his shoulder will even allow him to do it for a whole game, much less a season.  that's where we're at.

My issues with Cam have mostly been clock management, i have seen him make all the throws. drop dimes and possibly make throws no other qb could make with his arm strength wich i know he probably doesnt have anymore. His accuracy issues imo have been a little overblown, for his career he is hovering around 60%? He has also been asked to throw to no name recievers deep effecting this outside of thr smitty years. I think we saw the Cam we will get more or less in the first 6 games or so of last year only i think he may even be better if he gets 100% healthy. Imo his shoulder surgery was a success and where he might not have the power he once had i think it wont hurt him anymore. I think even injured we saw a little of what he could do with DJ and Curtis...even tho he overthrew Curtis thanks to his foot but he was hitting Dj 5 plus times a game. A more accurate Cam that can break off a run when needed will be so dangerous. I also think he is the type to take a team friendly deal and not be the highest paid at his position and i believe he can be a pocket passer when needed exspecially after working woth Norv for another year.

With a 100% Cam i think it will eliminate our redzone troubles and we can score 30 pts plus a game...I think thats the difference between him and Allen.

Who is the TD you are referring to? Most Panthers fans are going to immediately think of Thomas Davis, and his career isn't over.

I think he is referring to Terrell Davis that played with Broncos.
