Cam is a 30 year old QB with a 40 year old shoulder.  No one has any clue on how this will shake out.

Conversely Allen has had three games where either his opponent had nothing to play or his defense played lights out (14 sacks in two games)

so so we really have no clue how that will shake out

allen has started 3 games in the nfl.   period.  he won them on the road. idc what you say that's not easy.   i'm happy as hell for him.   i'm also with the poster who said the way we dealt with our shitty oline was to say 'no worries, we got cam newton'.   that's what's gotten us in this situation, and cam thinking he could take on linebackers in his first couple seasons, and tj watt, and the fukkin refs.  but i can cry over spilt milk all i want, or look at the present situation.

RPO, he has to prove hes a legit running threat too. idk what will happen.

What will happen is that there will be QB auditions during live fire until they find one that can take them to the playoffs.  There's a whole lot riding on this season for a lot of people in BOA.

My friends we find ourselves at a crossroads in Panthers Nation.   Choose wisely Mr. Tepper.

Put him in only when we lose with Allen to see what he can still do

if not trade Cam to NE under Brady so he can at least get ring has a backup he at least deserve  that since NFL didn't protect him when  was getting hit in the head and our OL sure didn't do its job after 2015 season minus the super bowl.
