At Friday's presser, Ron said this about KK playing vs Houston  " we will see how he feels when he wakes up on Sunday".

 

Now, he's having surgery and on IR.

Damn it. Huge loss. McCoy was a huge signing. Luckily the depth on the D-Line was deep enough to withstand this and still be a strong group.

Butler needs to show why he was a 1st round pick.  I would certainly rather have Short in the mix but maybe Butler and Love are more suited to the 3-4 DE role.

Hated the contract when we gave it out now I hate it even more. Especially since he restructured and can’t be cut this offseason

Likely was something he was going to see if he could play through the pain but has now decided to have surgery.

Sucks but if there was any season to lose him, it'd be this one.

Even if he doesn't get as many sacks he's still a crucial part of this d-line.
