Everett Brown - Can we figure out how to get this guy on the field.

I really think that Brown, Brayton, and Johnson could all start on other teams. Very solid players. Right now in the NFL you have rarely consistent DE's in the eyes of the fans and its not just Peppers who is guilty of this. Its because people judge their play of the amount of sacks alone.

Everett still has a bright future ahead of him.

Not that I disagree but lets not forget we got Goodson also. And more important we are paying our top 5 2nd round money. This might sound stupid but if it ends up being a top 5 pick I am glad its not ours, there is simply too much risk moneywise. If you make one mistake in the top 5 and your franchise is lost.

So can Brown just be worth a 1 rounder... ANY first rounder I will be glad cause we are not paying him much.

If I were a GM the very first thing I would make sure never happens was a top 10 pick. If not by record then by trades. With no rookie cap yet top 10 picks ruins football teams unlike you strike gold.

well..In the long run the trade will pay off.E.brown was a need.that had first round talent.coming to a DC that can get the best out of him.next year him and C.johnson can be a good pair.
