Care to elaborate?

.

Well no knock on brayton i think you are giving him to much credit..there is so much rotation on the line now.I dont think you can say Browns success is because of brayton wearing down a blocker.when we rotate so much and have all of our DE playing both spots.

Fair enough, I think Brown is most valuable and his success is directly based on him being rotated in after the larger and more experienced linemen have worn down blockers. Not just Brayton you are right there.

I think Everette Brown and Charles Johnson are probably on the same level. They consistently do about the same as one another, and end up fairing better against terrible tackles than Julius Peppers.

Brayton is pretty decent, but I'd like to see these kids step it up.

Brown still gets taken out of plays..with one OT..I dont see that to much with C.Johnson..rite now i would say C.johnson is way better than E.brown..

i think Brown is the type of player that won't be content with just pass rushing like Abraham seems to be..he has a fire for the game and I think he'll eventually become a complete player as he trains each year..

I hope this is the case, it's just not what I foresee. Though I am no expert and my foresight on the subject is questionable at best.

You guys doubting brown gotta see the big pic. This is his rookie year and he is already ahead of what most rookie des do as far as production. He has the ability heart and desire to be complete. I say hell max out at 265 and be a beast. I wish people would remember when osi came they said the same. They also did for trent cole in philly. This kid is gonna be special. Its funny alot of the guys here say "I wish we had someone with effort everydown" and when you get one they say"he probably good only on passing downs" funny poo man

He had a high ankle sprain week 3. He's been seeing plenty of action the last couple of weeks. He's also an undersized rookie who declared early. All things considered he's well ahead of where I thought he'd be at this point in the year. If he keeps progressing like he has he'll be well worth a 1st rounder next season.

Unfortunetly not the 1st rounder we would have ended up with. I had no issues at the time of the trade, I think most of us assumed we would be giving up a pick in the very high 20's for Brown. That is until we saw this team in the pre-season. That is when the panic about not having the pick started to surface.

I have been wishing for Charles Johnson to start for a while. I think this guy is a gem. He makes plays when given the chance. Brayton misses to many easy tackles and I don't think he gets enough pressure.

I feel bad for Brown, he'll always be judged cause of what we gave up for him. I think he's going to be great. Give Meeks time.... he could be the next Freeney.

And I'm not so sure Peppers will be gone next year. He seems to be happier now. He gave that speech, and yeah it may be for his contract and all that with the next team, but maybe he now cares and likes the scheme. The D IS playing better. He's not the only one on the line doing something. Lets see...
