A healthy Cam or CMC who do you resign?

How can you say that? 2015 Panthers went 15-1. 2003 Panthers 11-5.

That’s irrelevant to the match up. 2003 had prime Steve Smith, Moose, Kris Jenkins, Peppers, Rucker in his prime, Stephen Davis in his prime, fresh Deshaun Foster, Dan Morgan, Will Witherspoon, Mike Minter, Deon Grant, all at their peak with a roided offensive line.

It just goes to show how much Cam was able to elevate the team in 2015.

I wouldn’t call Olson, Stewart, Kalil, TD, kk, Charles Johnson , Josh, or Luke slouches

and playoff records are absolutely relevant

They aren’t slouches but Olsen, Josh, and maybe Luke are the only other advantages.

If I recall Jakes teams only went to the playoffs 03,05, and 08.

Cams teams went 13,14,15,17. And in between those years the losing teams of Ron and Cam have always been more competitive than any  of John Fox’s losing squads aside from his 04 team which I’ll say could have been a contender if they could have made the playoffs but they lost the last game of that season.

Cams a better QB than Jake. Delhomme had a moxy and had a zip to make throws he had no business making. But once he got hurt he had grown complacent in his game because he always relied on Steve. He was his absolute best when he had spread the ball around in 2004 when Smith was on IR.

Theyre both gunslinger QBs but Cams is much more gifted and his accomplishments in 2015 trump anything Jake did.

No insanity. I pointed out you were wrong in claiming that Jake and Cam have achieved the same amount of success...

Thing is @TheMaulClaw wasn't wrong, he was right.  Well, he may have been slightly wrong...

...Cam & Jake produced the same number of winning seasons, three (3).  However, Jake did so in 6-seasons while it took Cam 8-seasons.  Both players took the team to a Super Bowl, and both lost.

In terms of the playoffs, Jake was 5-3 in eight games (remember, 6 seasons)....while Cam is 3-4, in eight (8) seasons.

No opinion there, nothing but the facts ma'am.

Team goals are:

Win Super Bowl

Win Division

Make Playoffs

They both went to and lost one Super Bowl. Cam is the only QB to win the division 2 years in a row. Cam has gotten Carolina more playoff appearances.

Jake never failed to jump on and cover a fumble.

Jake's playoff record is 5-wins, 3-losses.

Cam's playoff record is 3-wins, 4-losses.

Cam never hopped on the fumble because the game was fixed lol

1) Jake for sure didn't recover every fumble he put on the ground. Unless he was on his back for every fumble then he absolutely did fail to jump on and cover a fumble before.

2) Jake in the playoffs: 58% completions, 12 TDs, 10 INTs, 6 fumbles.

Cam: 60% completions, 12 TDs, 7 INTs, 5 fumbles.... With Philly Brown, Ted Ginn, Funchess and Benjamin....

The last 2 Jake Delhomme playoff games:

32 of 69 for 401 yards, 2 TDs, 8 INTs and a Fumble Lost.

Super Bowls....Jake = 1....Cam = 1.

Winning seasons....Jake = 3....Cam = 3.

Playoff record....Jake = 5 wins/3 losses....Cam = 3 wins/4 losses.

Losing seasons....Cam = 5....Jake = 1.

Total wins = Cam.

Worst loss that is 100% on the QB in Carolina? 6 Turnover Playoff Jake.

Again, look at the offensive talent around the 2. Yet Cam still has a higher career completion %, more total wins, better TD to INT ration, more yards, better rushing stats, more rushing TDs and played so good he was an MVP on a team that didn't have blow away talent around him on offense. Jake never won two divisional titles in a row. Jake never went to the playoffs in back to back seasons. Cam went 3 years in a row. Losing seasons? When Jake came to Carolina we were 7-9 the year before. We had talent there. Cam was drafted first overall because we were lacking. Wildly different supporting casts. Cam is better than Jake was. "Cam has accuracy issues"... has a better completion % than Jake.

I can't recall another player outside of Jake throwing 5 INTs and losing a fumble in the playoffs before or since he did it. Set the franchise back.

Lol you’re being so disingenuous  about this that it’s actually kind of amusing.

Like you’re really gonna count Cam’s rookie year during a lock out?
