The argument is...that Jake was an average QB that had a strong running game....and we pretty much accomplished the same results as a team that we have with QB1 back there.

No Jake was sort of average from a physical talent perspective.  He was a good leader.  Both of them only had 3 or 4 winning seasons.

From a wins and loss perspective they're both a little above average.

to me jake was more great or terrible, i guess that balances out to average, with a lot of intangibles.   cam, to me, has been handicapped by a bad head coach.

That was the point of the illustration though.

People were saying that you could make the choice based on position alone as if all things were equal.

Got it, I thought for sure this isnt Mr. Scot picking a RB over a QB.

Panthers deal is incomplete, dont for sure 100% know what level Cam can play at currently.

Gents, Delhomme's Super Bowl team was exponentially better than Cam's. What player/position was better on the 2015 team compared to the 2003 - other than QB? Tight End. Middle linebacker is closer than you'd probably admit, but I could concede that one as well.
