Deshaun Watson on the Panthers defense

Honestly, our coverage doesn’t work that well without a monster pass rush forcing Watson to make tough throws and not letting routes develop.  I have never seen our defense work with look more balanced than yesterday.

the plan works when you are getting pressure. you dont even have to sack or hit him on every play. most QBs making them move is enough to fug with them.

Watson is the truth but if they don’t get a line to allow him to hold the ball and go deep, which is his strength, he’s gonna get killed.

And in fairness, Watson missed those deep balls because the pressure was in his head.  Masterful performance by the front 7.

If Watson gets a decent line and a good run game, he'll make some serious waves in the league. He's a good guy stuck in a bad system there.

Yup it’s a culture. 

Hell he had a owner once refer to his players something along the line as prisoners and having keys to the jail cell
