Remarkable pass rush + coverage

Gerald McCoy May not be showing up on the stat sheet but he is doing work on the inside. Taking a double team nearly every play.

All that without KK as well and against three straight somewhat Mobile qbs  I cant wait to see this defense against a statue like Matt Ryan

Scary good.

I gotta admit I still feel like I don't know how good our pass rush really is because we've faced three quarterbacks who either held on to the ball too long or, in the case of the first one, weren't really all that great.

I'm hoping we're as good as our numbers but I won't be terribly surprised if those numbers start to go down as we face better quarterbacks.

Of course we likely wont sustain a record tying pace. That doesn't mean we shouldn't appreciate it.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
