Cam derangement syndrome is a real thing

It’s cool when posters can like and support both of our QBs without making it into some weird competition. Like, I can love Cam and admit he’s a much better QB and also love what Allen is doing without being a racist.

You guys sitting in one camp need to get the fug over yourselves. Cheer for panthers and support whoever the QB is in full or gtfo

Absolutely.  It's nice to have a young backup QB.

I will admit I agree with staying with the hot hand.

KA has the tools and more importantly the composure to be a #1 QB.

Houston brought blitzes and different looks to confuse him. KA stood tall and delivered a win.

Uh, yeah.  Because it wasn’t.

Your point?  It was a FOOTBALL observation.

My point is it was. I get it. You don't want to admit he looked pedestrian today but he pretty much did. If not for the defense we wouldn't have won due to those fumbles.

People having an opinion that you don't agree with is bigotry? What are you batman?

Saying that Cam has added little value in the past 9 games is fact. I hope he returns and wins people over by playing well.  I hope he wins a superbowl and people remember him for that and for his amazing athleticism, rather than for the wrong reasons. But if you and the OP want to get angry about what random drunks in bars think about Cam go ahead and waste your energy.

Rayzor said he has to deal with bigots and all you say is ignore it and that it's pathetic people defend him. Keep making light of it though if it makes you feel better.

Quote me saying ignore bigotry. You can't because I haven't. I said its pathetic that we're having a pity party for Cam because of something a guy I don't agree with in a bar mistakenly said about Cam. Your outrage is laughable. I'm done with this stupid thread and your gormless comments. You're going on ignore.

you seem to have missed the part that this has been going on since before he was drafted and that these guys are only around when the team or cam is doing poorly, but when things are going well, they are nowhere to be seen.

and yes, there is and has been a lot of racist crap going on this whole time. Much of it i'm able to catch before too many people see it and a lot are very repeat offenders that have been doing this for years. the worse was after the superbowl where I saw some of the worst racist comments I have ever seen coming from everywhere and I ended up spending hours going through and banning dozens of new and alt accounts doing nothing but spewing their filth.

this isn't something that is being made up or exaggerated and this isn't something that can or should be tolerated. There has been far too much so now I'm not messing around. there are those, though, who think I am being far to strict and rigid about it and those who think I am being far too lenient. who is right? who knows? I just know that I've seen a lot and i'm seeing it more often and it's a constant battle.

people act like it's not that big of a deal or that it's not all that prevalent or that there really isn't that much racism anymore, but it's absolutely there and it's getting worse, or at least more public. rather than criticizing those who are trying to make it right people should at least be more empathetic about the realities that are existing for many people.

not all criticisms of cam are racist, but there are more than there should be and more than you realize.

Bro great points . But the Carolina huddle is the perfect representation of America today . “Racist and bigotry doesn’t exist” we only making up in our heads when we don’t have any other argument . People aren’t going to get it because they don’t wanna get it and that there lays the people itself . You talking to deaf ears sadly . They make it hard to root for this team sometimes that’s why i never made an account on here until this year . I feel your frustration trust me .

I’m a long time Cam defender and always will be. I also think he’s the much superior QB. But I admit that KA might be a slightly better fit for Norvs offense. It’s at least close. I would not say that about Shula’s offense. KA couldn’t come close to competing with Cam in that system. But Norv’s, it definitely seems to fit KA’s skill set favorably

what evidence is there to suggest that's a reasonable concern?

I mean I think it's a reasonable concern Philly. Cam is 0-8 in his past 8 starts. Granted he was injured...but he could have a bit of rust. I'm not sure if at that point in the season we can sacrifice a game or two while Cam shakes of the rust.

That's just one of those clear and obvious troll accounts that people claim are "the whole board".

Is 332nd the TRS you were in in the USAF?

I was not. Army here, but my "adopted" granddad was 332nd in WWII (Tuskegee Airman). Mom & Dad's fathers died before I was a teenager, (He was my maternal grandfather's best friend. All granddads were in WWII.) so grandaddy Jack took over & when I was in my 20's, out of the army, in college trying to figure out what I was going to do, he sat me down, handed me a glass of moonshine that his buddy made, & told me I had what it takes to go off the beaten path & make my mark. He literally called every single argument I had with my family when I said I wanted to go into the arts, & he also called every apology when I managed to make a living out of it. I listened, things worked out, & he died a little before the site changed & I lost my original handle so I took this one to honor him.

Rat-tat-tattattat down in flames they go.

Cool, cool. I was in the 332nd in the AF so I was curious.

Nice story too!
