Yep, and 2 of the 3 are HOFers playing at their house, yet they still won in LA.  The other managed to lead Jags to a lone TD drive en route to a whopping 12 points.   Us, on the other hand, gave up 50 points in two games at HOME! Say what you will, the Texans defense is not garbage and for some reason you have a hard time giving credit where credit is due in respect to Allen and the Texans defense.  You may have an agenda...I don't know and could really care less.

It's the OL, am I doing it right?

It's not all on the OL, but they're not exactly blameless either. Strip sacks don't generally happen without somebody doing a lousy job blocking.

With that said, while it's not like watching Aaron Brooks old empty hand passes, Allen still needs to do a better job of holding onto the ball.

That he has yet to throw an interception is genuinely pretty damn impressive.

Mind you, it would be a lot more impressive if it weren't for the fumbles.

Even more impressive would be if the OL would keep the opposing DL off of Allen.  It's not like he's just dropping the ball or doing a Sanchez butt-fumble....he's getting hit.  Could he protect the ball better as he gets hit?  Sure, but not getting hit would be the better option.

Well most certainly they didn't have tape on a HOF QB, a borderline HOF QB and a rookie. You're reaching...

No argument.

Mentioned Aaron Brooks because I remember watching the ball just fall out of his hands going backwards loads of times. Seen that happen with others too.

That kind of thing is way worse than a strip sack.

Yep. If we’ve learned anything about him so far it’s that he can make mistakes and immediately pick himself back up and come up in the clutch. Huge trait for a young QB

You don’t get released and picked up released and picked up after going undrafted without developing thick skin

Obviously, the multiple fumbles has to be a concern. That said, we're going to get another QB killed if we either don't improve our pass protection or get the ball out of Allen's hands even faster.

I'd say that Allen gives us a chance to compete kinda like that one year where Derek Anderson beat the Bucs twice. Having the defense play like today would certainly help.
