Last thing I'll say on it.

Watt could have taken out his shoulder without the helmet. Just stopping the arm mid throw is enough to tear a rotator cuff. The body uncorks and the arm stays in place. Happens.

And if he'd done that within the limit of the rules you'd never hear me say a word about it. But he didn't, and yet there were no repurcussions....

Thanks for the reply, raz.

But I see a big difference in these 2 statements:

the one by Ron: "he was mad at me again"

and the one by you:  "and then got mad again that we won"

To me, being mad that Ron took him out is not the same as your saying he was mad that we won.  You see my point?

Anyway, good talking with you, buddy.  Very civil.

he didn't get pulled from that game.  DA started the game and finished it. cam was held out over a cracked rib (i think that's what it was but he didn't play)  so the way i'm reading it is cam got mad we won the game without him, could have been mad he didn't get to play again and the win just set him off.  that's probably more what happened now that i'm thinking about it.   i didn't like the video, was not impressed with how he hid injuries, don't think its the first time, and am probably viewing things with a negative bias because of my own upset.  am human

1. Do you believe the violence in football needs to have clearly defined limits? If no why not.

2. Do you believe it is asking too much of grown men paid handsomely to exhibit enough self control of their emotions to not blatantly and intentionally violate these limits? If so why?

3. Do you believe the people who run the league and officiate the games should be held accountable to do so to a reasonable standard of competence and even handedness? If no why not?

4. When a qb holding the ball takes multiple headshots in full view of officiating crews that are clear violations of those limits, why would you not consider this a failure to meet such a standard?

1.  Yes.

2.  No.  However, I also understand that there will be times when the limits are exceeded....and, rules are in place to deal with these situations accordingly.  I also understand that some of the violations will not be caught.

3.  Yes.  Again, I'm also realistic enough to know every single infraction will not be caught.

4.  As stated, calls get missed.

Now I get one:

Are you suggesting the officials in that game were part of a conspiracy and intentionally put Cam in harms way?  If so, why would they do this?
