Sounds like a lot of wishful thinking.

Don't want to say there's an agenda there so I won't say it.

I honestly think people are just tired of losing.

I remember when Tom Brady replaced Drew Bledsoe.

I remember when Steve Young replaced Joe Montana.

I remember when Dak Prescott replaced Tony Romo.

I remember when Rob Johnson replaced Michael Vick.

I remember when Matt Flynn replaced Aaron Rodgers.

I remember when Scott Mitchell replaced Dan Marino.

Kyle Allen replacing Cam Newton could fall into either of the categories represented here. Witj just one game under his belt, we really don't have any idea.

Again, everybody wants to be able to say they were the first person to call it, but hey...

Not saying that Kyle Allen will be Tom Brady, but...remember that?  The Patriots were done without Bledose.  Brady was a 6th round pick out of Michigan.  NOBDODY predicted his success.  He's pretty much the GOAT now.  Hell, I remember myself talking to other people saying the Pats were dead. And btw, at that time the Pats weren't poo, kind of like we are now.

Kyle Allen has had a couple of pretty damn good games. And I'll be the first to admit that the Saints game last year was bullshit in my mind.  But if he can keep this up, then count me in.

Ok, now imagine for a moment that Ron Rivera was his head coach instead of Belichick.

Matt Moore should be the biggest warning against crowning Allen. Although, much of our current fanbase have probably not been fans long enough to remember him.

Yes, it's surely premature, but it's nice to dream. In what little we've seen, Allen has looked great. I hope we end up spoiled for choice with three healthy and capable QBs.

I'm really excited to see the remainder of Allen's audition, however long it may last. And I hope he aces it.

Had a slightly above average career with no rings or noteworthy awards to show for it... then became a great analyst on CBS after being replaced by a better rookie?

Uhh Romo was a bit better than slightly above average. And aside from a botched playoff play he’s done pretty well.

The Cowboys were horrendous at giving Romo a teams and his olines were always god awful.

just sayin

this loser fuging fanbase has been desperate to eject cam straight through the canopy since the first time he put a towel on his head to the point they'll annoint any generic JAG the next tom brady after two fuging games against garbage pail teams.

all you have to do is read the AIDS ridden panthers facebook page comments to read peoples' true motivations... but then we've always known haven't we

this fanbase has always been content with a 7-9 team that they can huck and haw about with the boys down at the fishin crick as long as the quarterback dresses right

Let me explain, okay?

Brady is a mediocre system QB who lucked into the greatest coach of all time. Without Belichick, this guy is out of the league in two years at best. If anything, it was a waste of a sixth rounder - not disastrous, but still a poor use of resources. With a better QB, New England would have won the Super Bowl nearly every year straight. Like, literally, even with Stafford, or, hell, even with some sh*tter like Dalton, they would have won the Super Bowl so many times the league would have to set a handicap, like their touchdowns are only worth three points.

Does Ron Rivera strike you as that kind of coach?

All you posters who constantly poop on people who make topics for discussion on a dying forum-

EAT A BAG OF DICKS

you can STFU, Pepe

If this forum is dying, it is because of dumbasses with agendas that post illogical threads hating on our generational players and compare them to unrelated situations on other teams in the past.

Thing about it is, you weren't wrong about Jake.
