I get the Hurney criticism, he's earned some, but the depth chart is set by the head coach. That's his. So is somehow thinking it's a good idea to attempt to convert awful defensive linemen into offensive tackles entrusted with protecting your franchise quarterback.

Actually Norv runs the offense and likely makes all the personnel decisions on offense this year while Rivera does the defense. Not sure how it had been in the past but good or bad, Norv is running the offense

I forget who it was, but one NFL lineman said trying to play on the opposite side is like trying to wipe your ass with your non-dominant hand.

You know what occurred to me after I wrote this?

Some yahoo on here is probably going to try that (or has already tried it) :Eyes_Emoji_42x42:

Daryl will not be on our team next year, and everyone knows it.  Nobody wanted to pay him after the injury, but now that he's shown he is healthy, he'll be a starting Right Tackle next year for someone, and will get a good contract.

Right now, we're going to play him at Guard till Trai is ready, and then he'll go back to rotating with Little while he learns.  Best case scenario, Little wins Ron's confidence sooner than later, and Daryl either plays LG or is our top backup.

Our o line could be really solid if they put players in the right position. If any one can be our swing lineman it needs to be moton. Little on the left, Darryl on the right and have moton fill in at either guard.

Or bench Darryl and start little and moton if our guards are healthy. Or replace van roten with moton.

Best case when Little is ready: Little - Turner - Paradis - Williams - Moton. Earlier I would've said Williams at LG but he just said he's better for the right. Plus having an All-Pro beside Little can help him even more.

If Little isn't ready: Moton - GVR - Paradis - Turner - Williams. Moton looked like our future at LT until injuries happened at the beginning of last year. Don't know why we refuse to put him back.

How do we know Trai is capable of playing on the left side? He has only ever played on the right side in both college and the NFL.

And we really can’t say that Moton was looking like the LT of the future when he only played one half of a real game. Even Byron Bell had some short stretches when he looked good.
