He's probably from eastern NC. A lot of people don't realize it, but eastern NC (particularly the rural areas around Kinston) is pretty much the Mecca of dog fighting.

I didn't know Vick was on TV. Well that explains everything. For years now mentioning anything negative about Cam Newton has been the quickest and easiest way to get a little shine in the sports media world.

There's obviously a lot you that acts like you hate Vick because of dog fighting, you're probably the same ones who were ok with AB coming here. Your open priorities are misplaced. Regardless, Vick said nothing that was untrue. If you're the face of an NFL franchise, it carries a certain level of responsiblity. Your actions,  your words,  your attire reflects on the franchise you represent.

Or maybe some of us have done work in animal rescue, seen what happened to animals that have gone through that & while we can accept his debt to society has been paid we don't give a fug what he has to say about someone's character. Also, didn't even think about AB being here.

As for being the face of the franchise, if the franchise hasn't said anything to him about it maybe they don't have a problem with it.
