I feel like we need a new medical staff.  Most likely they told the team he can play on it if he can stand the pain and it won't get any worse than what it was at that point.

They Kevin Durant him

He Kevin Durant himself

should not have been playing two weeks after the injury in preseason

should not play until  doctors independent from the team completely clears him

People tend to forget that last year, before the Steelers game, he was playing at ProBowl level.     That is WITH a bum shoulder and not throwing past 15 yards.       It's just too early to be talking in absolutes right now.      He needs time to heal and unfortunately the team hasn't handled his injuries correctly.

Injuries piling up.  Why should anyone not expect for that to continue?

I hate it, I still believe what I posted after TB game. I honestly think he's played his last game.  I wouldn't be surprised if he retired if the foot requires surgery. Best case I think he's played his last game as a Panther and that's really depressing because he and the team got screwed out of a sb. One of my favorite players ever, up there with TD because of the heart and desire to be on the field no matter what.

I knew it was bad if Cam took himself out of the game. People call him selfish but it’s the most unselfish thing a player can do.

There are legitimate knocks on Cam, but anyone who has ever called the guy selfish is the biggest fuging idiot ever.

I just wish he would have pulled himself after aggravating it against TB. I hope playing an NFL football game for 3 Quarters didn't do more damage to it than what was already sustained during the scramble/injury. I guess its due to Olsen's mishaps but the foot just feels like a ticking time bomb at this point.

People point to the Pittsburgh fiasco, but he actually played extremely well in his next two games - Detroit and Seattle.  He threw for over 600 yrs with 5 TDs and 2 INTs.  His QBR was 114.4 and 110.6 respectively, which is really high for him.  Both were very close losses.

The wheels fell off against TB - 4 Ints and a 66.2 QBR.  Then a 70.0 against Cleveland and a 52.5 against NO and they finally shut him down.

You can say he should have been shut down after Pitt, but his production on the field says otherwise.  I would have shut him down after Cleveland after watching him struggle to throw 10 yards.  I don't think he incurred any additional damage against NO, but he gave us no shot to win.

If Rivera had knowledge that cam has a lisfranc injury (which he has to cuz he's the coach) and let him play anyways,  it's just another reason to fire him.

He sure benched Ryan Kalil with a quickness back in 2012 when Kalil was diagnosed with a lisfranc.

And some people still scoff at me when I repeat my view that, over the 8+ years of his head coaching stint, Ron Rivera hasn't given a single flying fug about Cam's health.

Ok the double standard here is getting out of hand.  If the doctors say Cam is good, and Cam says he is good, what is the coach supposed to do?  Greg tried to play on an injured foot, TD played in the super bowl with his arm held together with chewing gum and screws.  Those guys showed lots of heart and drive to play through pain.  Cam tries to do the same and most yall want to blame the coach.

Again, for some people its like Ron Rivera is a disembodied angelic spirit that hovers over this team, responsible for all the good things that happen but is IN NO WAY EVER RESPONSIBLE for anything bad.

And, of course, never responsible for actually making a fugging decision.  That only falls to the coordinators, assistants, and players.  Angelic Spirit Ron is not responsible, he will just continue to hover.

I am not saying he is perfect.  He has made some bad decisions.  What I am saying is this foot injury is not all on him, and not everything that goes wrong is his fault. Every win is not Cam "dragging" the team in spite of Ron.

I try to not see things in all black and white, but see the gray areas as well.
