They trusted Kyle Allen to throw the ball down the field at the end of the 1st half.  So not really buying that he was given a "simpler" game-plan.  Dude was just money.

Simplifying game plans is generally something you do for rookies while they're still learning the system.

I just can't buy that such was necessary here.

The last time I remember Newton hitting someone in stride was Philly Brown in 2015 NFC Championship game for his TD...thats how rare I feel it is with Cam, sadly.

Yeah. When you have to jump or reach or adjust to catch a pass, it takes you out of your run.

Hitting someone in a way that allows them to keep running like happened with Moore is extremely effective.
