I need a pep talk/kick in the throat for this game

Guys,

I understand with the TERRIBLE games this season its not looking good for our team, but you have to understand that this is the type of situation that dreams are made of.

I know everyone can look ahead of the season and say that we will lose this game or that game, but the truth is that we DONT HAVE to lose another game.

Its easy to not get excited, in fact its the safest thing to do. Emotion is a hard thing to sway, or summon when so much has gone wrong, but its when things are at their worst when players can be at their best.

Steve Smith still hasent had a TD.

Williams still hasent had a run over 30 yards

And Jake Delhomme still hasent had a great game.

These three things make me smile because that tells me that the best is yet to come.

This team is not one to lay down, Julius Peppers is fired up, the defense is playing great, and we know that the offense is capable of playing great.

The best is yet to come.

This team WANTS this game on Sunday, they are ready for it. Jake is out for blood, and Steve Smith wants to show the league why he is great.

I am excited for this Sunday. I expect big things from our team on Sunday.

I wish i could say "since the season is a wash at least we get to see the young guys"..but not on a Fox team..The vets will play even if they suck

I wish i could say"At least with this great QB class we could use our 1st round pick on one"but no we have Everette brown.. our top 10 pick...

This is going to a very long season.

Here's a pep talk, from a Cards fan.

The Cardinals are coming off a big, emotional win in prime time. They are 1-2 at home, and have a history of not playing 4 quarters of football. Two of the defensive stars are injured (DRC and Rolle) and both RBs have a case of fumble-itis. The Cards LOT (Levi Brown) is a human penalty machine and both OT's are getting beat by elite pass rushers.

The Panthers have a lot of good players and the Cards are due for a let down. I wouldn't start slitting my wrists just yet if I were you.

The good news is we love Panther football and they play Sunday. Carolina has just as many playmakers if not more than the Cardinals! Plus, if Jake throws the game away at half....you can aways swtich over the to GB/Viking game.

Aren't both games going to be on Fox?
