Official Panthers at Cardinals gameday thread.

Today could be the day we all agree the Cam/Rivera era is over. This game might be the one where the wheels completely come off, and the Panthers implode.

Rivera has never shown he can win consistently without anything other than elite performances by Cam Newton. Another loss will just confirm that even more.

After the game, if Rivera is not able to use his “missed opportunities” excuse, he will be visibly upset and contentious with the media as the questions about his job security get much louder.

I don’t see it coming together folks. We’re in for a long ride down misery road. Hopefully next year we have some new hope behind a new coaching staff and possibly a new QB.

We better win this damn game if not  I want us to beat Miami for the #1 pick.

If they can't beat the cardinals, they may just give Miami a run for their money for that pick.

I'd wish you guys luck, but I wouldn't mean it. Will wish for no injuries.

The Panthers have lost 9 out of the last 10 games, and are now starting a backup QB on the road after a miserable start to the season. What is there to be cheerful about? The safe bet is this team is about to get curb stomped.

There’s more to this game than Kyle Allen. I know that’s the storyline, and I know everybody wants to talk about Cam. Quarterback position is monumentally important. But other things can and probably will determine the outcome ultimately. Finding little advantages in the margins.

26 needs to do better today. He’ll probably be facing Christian Kirk, who had a big day last week against a pretty good secondary in Baltimore. Bradberry on Fitzgerald, that should be interesting.

Palardy and Jamerson. New brand of whiskey? Nope, it’s the punter / gunner combo that can make Kyler’s day harder today. Keep an eye on 30 today on the perimeter.

And yes, quarterback is important. Move that pocket. Get Ian Thomas in the goddamn game. Create matchups. Find a way to utilize McCaffrey creatively again. And I’m not talking about the wildcat.

The Panthers need to run the damn ball.  Arizona is near the bottom of the league in run D.  But I fear this game will come down to our defenses inability to get off the field on 3rd down.  Win those battles and they should win the game handily.  If not, well it's worse than I thought.

Will Bradberry follow Fitz into the slot. If not, that could be a problem.

AZs gameplan attacks some of our question marks. Elliot and Cockrell have to play a lot and play well. And with all the passes and tempo, our DL depth is poor at the wrong time.

And Chandler Jones against DW is scary. He’s being abused by average players.
