Until you start hearing some midweek rumors or reporting of anybody else taking practice reps at left tackle, nothing will change overnight. That would be my best guess.

Where’s this coming from? Serious question not being snarky. I thought he looked very average in pre season (I know not starters) where Darryl has looked awful so far. Has he just looked terrible in practice?

Williams. Ron will get himself fired before he admits this mistake everyone saw coming and puts Moton at LT where he belongs (at least given this current roster).

Do you “Ron would rather stick with Williams than admit he made a mistake” crowd seriously think Ron believes it’s in his best interest for his job security to continue to lose games rather than fess up to a mistake? That’s one of the dumber takes I’ve heard on here. Ron (like any other coach) knows that his best chance at keeping his job is to win games...if he believes Moton at LT and Williams at RT will help achieve that outcome, then he’ll make that switch. You can question his talent evaluation by not making that switch, but questioning his motivation is ridiculous.
