The answer is highly unlikely to be sitting on a couch. Guys sitting on couches right now are there for a reason. Overall OL play is probably at an all-time low. I get it. Every good jumbo athlete wants to play defense. That's where the glory is for the big guys. No glory in playing OL, but there sure can be a lot of $$$$. The way it generally goes for HS and college jumbo athletes is the guys who aren't athletic enough to play DL end up playing OL. That's just the truth. There are probably plenty of not quite good enough to make it DL sitting on couches who could probably be on rosters had they played OL instead of DL.

I don't know how he's held up, but I'm from Wilmington, and actually saw him play at Hoggard. He was a beast. It was like having Jerome Bettis on your flag football team.
