Rivera Walks out on Media Session

Go DJ that's my DJ

We pry for injury information and there's only so much a coach could give, much less should give.

He's got to protect competitive advantages, player privacy, keep from getting in trouble with the Players' Association and HIPAA compliances.

Walking out was the right thing to do.

Tbqh Ron Rivera has had it pretty nice over the years in terms of fielding tough questions from the media. Take one look at NY. This isn't that bad at all.

The walking out doesn't matter. That's not really going to alter my view of him as a coach in any way. But doing so staring down a potential 0-3 start after how we finished last season? He's going to get flack for that. It comes with the territory of being a head coach.

Francesca straight up telling Shurmer that his team is terrible live on air was pretty hilarious I must admit.

I believed Ron also left a press conference a few years ago when peppered about Luke Kuechly injury questions. Ron's very patient with the media but injury matters are a quick way to really get on his nerves.

He’s protective of his guys. That’s what I took away from it. Also, I have some questions about Arizona. Important ones. Valid ones. Relevant ones. But I’m not in that room today.

Yup a lot harsher markets for far less issues. All this "Woe is Rivera, I would have walked out too" is pathetic. Dude gets paid what, 7 million a year to deal with it? Its simply bad look when combined with the current results and projection of our season to just walk out like that after getting so easily flustered. Nobody cares about Colin Jones or whatever scrub QB he wants to talk about. Anybody with half a brain knows that his current job is linked to Cam Newton's status and he's previously been all over there place with those comments (Oh it's not his foot it's just him not saving me)
