Basically this. He’s trying to rile up his radio audience which primarily Alabama and Auburn fans who both have very strong opinions on Cam. He probably took calls on this quote all day and I bet they were hilarious.

Unfortunately, the Auburn fanbase has its own set of good ol' boy Benedict Arnold's and Quislings who are of the opinion that Cam is now (after giving them a perfect season and a national championship) an article of shame "cuz dat boy don't dress right!"

I have a different word to describe them:  ingrates.  Pure and simple.

I wonder how many issues are published each month of this Good Ol' Boy GQ magazine that these wife-beaters seem to subscribe to?

No finebaum is a pure racist. That's 100% real. No faking to get ratings there.

Well, his hero is Paul "Bear" Bryant... so there ya go.

Can anyone guess who the head football coach at the University of Alabama was when this event occurred?

P.S. Freely admitted in advance that Auburn University was no damn angel in this regard at the time either.  But trust me, at that time, the only state school Alabama politicians truly cared about at that time was their precious Capstone (their term of endearment for Bama).  And they hired employees there that reflected the same.

He said something you don't like so he must be racist?  I'm not saying I agree with him, but to call the man racist over his opinion seems a bit much.  What did he say exactly that leads you to believe hes racist?

 his "third world country" comment

Now, I do believe we live in a world of "ignorance looking like racism" gets blended in with "rascist"

The guy says things with a particular ignorance, that makes him sound racist. If he is, I do not know, nor am I willing to take snippets of media that I've seen, to label him as such.

Honestly my response is one of agreement with you, outside of the reaction from certain people who have valid reasons to be frustrated with comments like his.
