Lions just released some guy that played for Carolina last year

I disagree but it's a moot point.

Can agree that Tampa  was absolutely selling out to stop the run. Person pointed out that nobody got fooled after Newton went out to the right. Had just one guy bitten on the misdirection, McCaffrey could have had a cutback lane.

And of course, there's the fact that no matter who else we do have, we're not going to use them anyway.

Speaking of RB's, why are we caring 4 on the team?   Seems like we needed more QB's in the wings than RB's.  Especially since they only use one 100% of the time and our QB has been a question mark for 2 straight seasons now.

That question's been brought up.

It's a valid one.

It’s foolish not to have a hammer of a back to break tackles on 3rd and short.

It’s equally moronic to be carrying this many backs, just to use one on almost every snap. (Armah gets a token carry once a quarter.)

Christian McCaffrey is a significantly better running back than Alex Armah. Nobody would question that.

But if I need somebody to power his way through a defender in a specific situation, I'm definitely going to consider using Armah over McCaffrey.

Kinda wonder why we didn't go that route. Run him off tackle or something. Heck, even running McCaffrey might have worked if not for that dumb sh-t of having Newton sneak off to the right.

It’s just bad coaching. And I’m not “armchair coach guy”.

This is a strategy my 10-year old son sees as foolish. It doesn’t take a genius to see how counterproductive this “all CMC all the time” approach has been at times.

Now more than ever, as Cam’s 7-10 carries a game as the “power” back have gone away.

My guess would be he's looking for a bigger role.

Obviously, that's not gonna happen here because we don't believe in backup runningbacks.

Tell me you wouldn't have liked to have had Anderson around for that final goal line play last Thursday though.

I'd rather have used Armah
