As an update, we picked a hell of a time to go internet only with Spectrum. We got a message on our last bill that the internet rate will increase by $4 next month. LOL. I don't know how they continue to run their monopoly on being the ISP for most rural areas with their terrible, unethical business practices.

I was gonna call and question the increase, but it turns out that $4 increase is across the board, to everybody.

I’m in NoDa and got stuck with UVerse. I had previously used YouTube TV and just spectrum internet. When I moved down here from Huntersville in February I got stuck basically getting a package at UVerse with Tv & Internet.

This is how I expect cable companies to compete very soon. UVerse would give me a 300mbs Internet which is perfect, but has a data limit of 1TB. For me, I work from home 2 days a week, game systems, and YouTube tv I would be hitting close to that frequently. After that it was $10 more for an overage with some kind of limit. OR you can package that with their basic service and get unlimited internet (which their basic carries everything YouTube tv has). So I basically got forced to get the tv and internet bundle
