Personally I hope Cam can stay and shine and we get rid of Ron and Hurney and all these clowns, but if anyone knows anything about being a rocket armed dual threat QB, it’s Vick.

Discuss.

Eh. I'll believe it once I see it.

CBS already has a early mock draft out and seem to think we will be drafting top 5 and will be drafting a QB

Oh yay... draft the guy who isn't nearly as good as Marcus Mariota (the previously failed "next Cam Newton") in the top 5.

Hopefully Tepper will bring in management and coaching talent that won't do such a stupid thing.

My answer has nothing to do with Vick's opinion or his right to have one.  BTW would you feel the same about Carruth? He served his time too.

It appeared to me that Vick's opinion was being discounted because of his off field transgressions.  If that was not the intent my apologies.

If Carruth were asked about issues related what goes on between the lines and in the locker-room, sure, I'd give his opinion the same consideration as any other player who has actually played the game.

Another example is Frank Garcia when he was on WFNZ....on economic or business related topics Frank would go off on these wiiiiild azz tangents (he literally believe a new owner "could make billions" by moving the Panthers to Mexico) and had NO idea what he was talking about....

....but on topics related to between-the-lines, locker room dynamics, etc....he offered valuable insights.

PS....don't mistake this for being a broad endorsement of all player opinions, as if only they know!  Some are complete morons and the platforms they are given astound me.  Shannon Sharp comes to mind.  While he didn't play professionally that I am aware of, Stan Norfleet (did play at UVa) is another....bigger moron than Sharp.
