I remember the words Ron uttered in his press conference the night he drafted Cam.  He said, and I'm paraphrasing here, Cam is my QB for the rest of my career as a head coach.   I wonder if it came down to him or Cam would he still feel the same way?

Riv blew that whole relationship with the tie incident...thats when the line was drawn and sht went downhill...

Because if you're a youngster you're not remembering all that Mike Vick did.  Vick's Ron Mexico cover for std testing and the lawsuit that followed or his promoting dog fighting and going to jail for it or how he would pull off 'miracle' plays.

Actually ol' Rowboat screwed himself and Cam years earlier when he set aside his morals in order to retain his job (The Rower that is)....

....had Rowboat drawn the line in week 1 both would have been MUCH better off.

As @nationsford asked, what's that got to do with anything?

Mike Vick screwed up and paid the price, served prison time.

All of which has absolutely zero to do with him rendering an opinion on this situation.

He asked why a poster was so salty about Vick. That's what it's go to do with his question. I just pointed out the truth. Panther fans who paid attention from 2001 to 2006 have every reason to feel however they want to about Vick and most of us disliked him immensely. Further informed by the sh!t he pulled off the field.

My answer has nothing to do with Vick's opinion or his right to have one.  BTW would you feel the same about Carruth? He served his time too.

Personally I hope Cam can stay and shine and we get rid of Ron and Hurney and all these clowns, but if anyone knows anything about being a rocket armed dual threat QB, it’s Vick.

Discuss.

If his legs are gone he's done...it won't matter where he goes or who coaches him...no value in a trade for us now, gotta roll with him to the end...want to see him healthy and finish strong instead of limping out the door...

I don't value Mike Vick's opinion not because of his past behavior.......but because he strikes me as being a low IQ person.......which would explain in part some of his behavior in the past as well.

Violent criminal behavior whether with dogs or people are individuals whose IQs are very rarely in the triple digits. As a result their cognitive critical thinking process leaves much to be desired in areas such as delayed gratification for the sake of strategic planning in life......and in this case any attempt at an objective analysis of another player even in an area they are familiar with would leave much to be desired.
