Mike Vick thinks this is Cam’s last year in Carolina

I remember the words Ron uttered in his press conference the night he drafted Cam.  He said, and I'm paraphrasing here, Cam is my QB for the rest of my career as a head coach.   I wonder if it came down to him or Cam would he still feel the same way?

Writing is on the wall. Two things are absolutely going to happen. Either A. a miracle and Cam returns to CAMVP and we re sign him or B. His slump continues and he’s going along with Ron and company. 
 

Those are literally the only two options at this point

I love Cam. Like seriously I absolutely love the dude. But if we are seriously taking a QB, I want a guy that projects to play longer in his career. Of course you can never predict health, but we all knew Cam would get banged up with his play style and wouldn’t have a ton of longevity.

His play style, doing flips into the end zone, has been fugging awesome to watch. But the biggest lesson I’m taking away from this is that next time, I want a QB that can play til he’s 38. Because once once your QB is finished (not saying Cam is btw) you are closing your window and accepting it may not be open again for a LONG time.

It’s hard to find a QB. We found a stud in Cam. But I hope the next stud we find can avoid the big hits Cam has taken and stay around longer. Again, this is all assuming Cam is done, which I’m not so sure he is.

Personally I hope Cam can stay and shine and we get rid of Ron and Hurney and all these clowns, but if anyone knows anything about being a rocket armed dual threat QB, it’s Vick.

Not a chance cam would be here... new GM gets a new coach, new coach gets a new QB (if we hire a young gun like everyone wants). A young coach keeping Cam sets himself up for failure... expectation would become win now unless he kept Cam as a 22 million dollar stop gab to his drafted QB.... All three go together.... if one stays I don’t know that it wouldn’t be hurney instead of Cam....
