But how can that be?  Ron comes on TV every week and assures me that there is nothing physically wrong with Cam, and that his shoulder and foot are just fine.

I'm sure.

I'm also sure Cameron Artis-Payne is going to be getting that "long look" in the offense any day now.

You guys are acting like Cam didn't have surgery.  Pushing him in the preseason could of made it worse.  Give him time to figure it out.  He isn't looking completely hopeless, just out of sync.

I swear to god we need a bingo-card with just how many excuses the deniers can continue to come up with week after week.

I love Cam but some of y’all are more Cam fans than you are Carolina fans.

He flat out sucked on Thursday. He wasn’t much better the Sunday before that. 3 carries for -1 yards week 1. If he can’t run then we are one dimensional. I won’t say it’s the norm yet but if it is then get ready for some major overhauling, throw immunity out the window.

Any idea if that stat includes throwaways?

Any idea how many of those uncatchable throws were the WR running the wrong route?

Any idea who decides what's uncatchable?

edit:

Any idea how many of the uncatchable throws were caused by the QB being hit while throwing the ball?

Thanks @Krovvy, knew I was missing something.

I remember how much we heard about those dreaded "Cam fans" when we drafted Grier this year. How they wouldn't support another QB. But if you look at the huddle, the same fans who are dragging Newton have the daggers out for Grier who has already been tossed out after a less than impressive preseason. Even Allen who has actually won a game is discredited for that as if it shouldn't count.

Turns out the fans who constantly complain about "fans of players" are actually fickle and fairweather, not those they attack with false claims. Otherwise this place wouldn't look like such a hellhole of misery and ignorance.

Eh... plenty of folks too quick to jump the gun and say we should start Will now.

I’m just on the outside looking in realizing we are a legless/armless Cam Newton away from losing him altogether and repeating the nightmare that was 2010.

It's hard to say with Grier because he looks so terrified in the pocket at times. Is it a rookie thing he could grow out of or is that going to be who he is? You seem really bullish on him. You're going to need to develop some patience regardless of who the QB is if you intend on enduring the next couple of years of this franchise potentially being stuck in a desperate QB search. It's likely we're going to be throwing poo at the wall more often than not.

Well if we can't beat Arizona with Cam, it's over. That's about all we'll need to see sitting at 0-3.

It took the Huddle literally three preseason snaps to turn on Grier. Tua, Herbert, etc night get a quarter of a preseason game before they have to be cut.

I shouldn’t say the Huddle. Just mongoloids like FreeFua who are big Cam fans and willing to not want him dropped for another two whole games out of the goodness of their hearts.
