This organization ruined a possible HOF QB

I'm tired of this woe is Cam rhetoric. In the last 3 years, we spent 5 of our 7 picks in the first 2 rounds on offensive linemen and weapons for Cam. Our most expensive free agent acquisition in that time frame was a left tackle. Granted it was a colossal waste of money but the point is it's not like they weren't trying to help Cam. For all our woes on the offensive line, they've generally rated near average during Cam's years. As far as Rivera, there's something to be said for stability, and for what it's worth, Rivera is a 2 time coach of the year. It's not like we're rotating head coaches and offensive coordinators every year so Cam is having to learn a new playbook all the time.

Obviously there are areas that could have been better. But acting like this organization has completely failed Cam in some egregiously negligent way and turn him into this complete martyr is just too much.

yeah having blockers like Amini, Bell, Chandler, Remmers and an OC like Shula and providing receiving options that involve Bersin and tons of other washed up WRs while drafting a couple busts at WR really was not an issue for Cam lol. Some of you guys are just laughable. "But but, he was 2 time coach of the year!" Give me a break.

I just listened to Rivera's post game presser as well as his next day presser.

First, Rivera shut down ALL discussion that Cam's foot and/or shoulder were an issue --- he unequivocally said the foot & shoulder are both fine and to stop using them as excuses.

All that said, as my Dad used to say, Rivera is as FOS as a Christmas goose.... (in terms of general stuff, I believe him on the foot and shoulder)

It is a real shame that Cam has had his career railroaded by the former owner, management, and coaches of this dysfunctional organisation.  They ran him into the ground and did nothing to provide the talent and help he needed on the offense to succeed.

If he retired and told them to fug off, I would not blame him. They rode his coat tails to keep their jobs and it worked for them....but seems to have destroyed a once in a generation QB.

They definitely ruined 7 years at least....its sad but if he can adjust and be the cam of early last year, being a good passer but running when needed and getting down....he may have quite a few left that wont be wasted. Im trying to be a optomist and i truly believe if he catches fire we can go on a long win streak, we have done it before!

The league allowed direct hits on Cam, he wasn’t treated like Brady for example.   They are mostly at fault, not the Panthers org.

Total BS.  Guys like Tom and Russell know how to avoid the big hit, and they do so.  Stop with the BS.

Tell you what, based on listening to 3 of Cam's pressers (2 post-game, 1 weekly presser)....

....it is 100% CLEAR that his lack of running is TOTALLY a management call between #BigBalls Tepper, Hurndong & Rowboat Ron....

....it is perfectly clear Cam is eager, ready, willing, and able to run the football!

Guys know they don't have to deliver the big hit to get them down.  Cam was so hard to bring down early in his career that guys had to deliver the wood to tackle him.  Refs turned a blind eye a lot of times.
