Lucas has sucked this year.....but make no mistake about it.....Gamble, Godfrey and Harris have all sucked in coverage this year. People have been hyping up Gamble b/c he has knocked down some quick throws and stepped in front of some short screens and slants this year.......if any of our guys actually drop back and cover guys....they are all getting beat. I'm still a firm believer our defensive schemes are a bigger problem than talent.....it is easy to put a corner in a position to fail.

Godfrey is a rookie you gotta remember he is used to the college season length. He has played very very well and he's gonna make rookie mistakes....hopefully he learns from them.

I personally think the pass defense has more to do with the soft cover we play (and partially the lack of pass rush in cases as King said) than the quality of our DBs, but that's just me...

I still don't know why this board is blowing up so bad... yeah, we lost, but we didn't play bad overall and the world is not ending.
