It’s over if Cam keeps playing like he’s been doing. I know the line isn’t doing him any favors but even with time he’s missed too many open receivers. I don’t know if he’s still injured or what.

I think we have overlooked the O-line for to many years, you are right about that. We need to get our line in good shape. Imagine what CMC and Samuel could do if the line gave them more time.

We don't seem to want to use any running back not named McCaffrey very much at all.

I think McCaffrey is fantastic, but that's just poor management.

If you have faith Cam can return to his prior self then the season is not over. 

If you think Cam is done, then yes the season is over. 

I personally think he’s done. The Watt hit wrecked the shoulder and he’s just taken too many hits over the years behind this shitty collection of offensive linemen.

Well they still have 14 games to play so, no it’s not over until Week 17 is over.

This is a 7-9 team. Again. It is about as “Ron Rivera” of a team as any of us have ever seen. A slow start has put the Panthers behind the 8 ball yet again, which has been all too familiar over the course of the last decade. We’ve seen close loses that the team could have won with just a couple less mistakes by the players and better play calling by the coaches. The fanbase is ready to burn the stadium down. I’ve already seen this movie, I am just not sure when we get to the next scene.

I expect in the next couple games we will finally see the Panthers get the monkey off their back and absolutely demolish someone to pacify the problems for a little while, but this is not a playoff team. It is also not a top 5 draft pick team getting blown out like the Dolphins. It’s a 7-9 team showing it’s true colors. We just need to accept it and hope next season will offer more hope behind a new coaching staff and players.

It's not necessarily just a question of if Cam gets better though.

Even if he does, how long does it take?

Kyle Bailey pointed out that it took Andrew Luck about six games before he started looking halfway decent after his return from shoulder problems. While that could be encouraging, the general belief is that we've got a lot tougher sledding on the back half of our schedule than we do in the front half.

We may not be able to afford to get down to an early deficit.

personally if it gets Rivera fired them so be it.

we have all seen teams that looked average to terrible suddenly fix their funk and peak at the best times.

this team did it in reverse last year. Looked great, playoff contender and then fell apart.

the opposite is what you want.
