Is Cam really focused on football?

And btw, off subject but Olsen needs to hang it up, dude makes one play and has to gingerly limp to the sidelines. If it’s not his foot, it’s his back if it’s not his back then it’s a bloody nose. He’s done

LOL, Olsen was the best receiver we had out there Thursday night.  Dudes a warrior.

the thing im concerned about is that norv turner is trying his damnest to exploit cams weaknesses because he knows cam will get piled on and cop the blame, so that when he leaves/is ousted from charlotte, there will be little/no pushback from fans when grier/allen takes over. i used a lot of /'s in that sentence.

lol.  yep that is enough all right.

I agree OP. Cam seems to be more obsessed with looking like a total clown and he is certainly doing well in that regard.

The dude needs to eat some meat and turn back into an animal again. This vegan crap is turning him into a ....... (can you say the word I’m thinking?)

Pussycat?

Hell yeah man I was sitting here thinking to myself "you know what the Carolina fuging Huddle Dot Com needs?  More takes on Cam's clothes.  In fact I might go find the tallest building I can and jump off it if I don't get to read another thread about Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am God Damn Son of Sam Cam's scarves".  So thank you OP

The “how dare you call me racist”s believe they are being so very clever and subtle in these hot takes.

They really do.

Yea but at least he’s out there doing all he can do... but we don’t have another TE at this moment to replace him.

Cam just spent an offseason changing his throwing motion... and doing his best to evolve into being whatever he’s told to.

i doubt he’s unfocused on football.

i think a better question is what are these coaches doing to destroy one of the most exciting players ever to be a football player?

i mean,.. if you were forced to change what and who you are on the football field from being a win big, prolific guy into Mark Brunell’s gentle checkdown cousin,.. what would you do?

watching him trying to play and be what these idiots are trying to make him into is painful.

I think if you had a Kyle Shannahan or a Pat Shurmer type of smart offensive coach instead of old school Norv he could thrive.

i have a hard time believing he’s done... hell even bring in another Chud and watch him go off.

he has to have fun... like Brett Favre and right now he looks like he’s the class king being locked up in detention.

Were people wondering aloud whether Jake was focused on football after he threw half a dozen picks against Arizona?

Even as awful as Clausen was at times I don't recall anyone questioning his dedication to football or his film study habits.

This bullshit could not be more obvious.

You start a season with two games at home in which it is a year to put up or shut up, and after two straight home losses in which you look lost on the field you come out and it looks like you put more focus on which freaking SCARF matches your attire??? WTF?? How about coming out in sweats because you don't give a sh*^ about how you look because your ONLY focus is getting into the film room and figuring out what you can do better to be the best you can be for your team, your fans, and YOU, the guy who a team is paying MILLIONS of dollars to perform up to yours and the teams standards AND WIN! Is that REALLY too much to ask for from a franchise QB? No, no one really cares what his fashion sense is, I do not care what he wears (in general) but when it looks like that is ALL you think about along with your vegan lifestyle change that he constantly promotes, it tells me that this guy is NOT the 265-pound seemingly invincible warrior we used to see (he's actually down to around 230 lbs)... Honestly, I don't totally buy the whole injury thing; I just think his head is no longer in the game in general, and if that is the case, then just freaking retire and become that "fashion aficionado" your sweet, sensitive heart desires...JEEZ, I think the plant-based phytoestrogens from Cams vegan lifestyle may be the bigger issue... I know I'll get a lot of heat for this, but what the hell happened to Cams mojo, moxie, swagger and just overall confidence and will? I want WARRIOR Cam back, NOW!!

Scarf smarf, he just seems like he's going through the motions, possibly because he knows he's done or is it because of the crappy play calling? Still it seems he doesn't really care, despite what he says.

Cam hasn't played meaningful football in over a year. Cam was never really good at being accurate as well. It's why I have campaigned for a elite WR for years. He's focused on football but he's not game ready is the real truth. The Panthers coaching staff has helped him out by giving him a sub par line who can't move teams and rely on Cam Newton to win games. What could go wrong right?
