Hopefully we can get a HC that get us good enough to beat Aints and Failcons or be really competitive. To make things worse Sean Payton just signed a 5 year extention with Aints.

Lincoln Riley will be the next head coach of the Cowboys.  Until then, he’ll stay in Oklahoma.  He wouldn’t leave Norman for this mess.

He would without question be my top pick, but this is probably right. Not sure what we’d have to pay him, but at least Tepper has deep pockets. Without question, we NEED a young, modern offensive schemer. I feel like defense in the NFL has come down to talent and non-neglect. You can get where you need to get with good talent and a middle of the road defensive mind. But for O, you need a head coach focused on getting playmakers in space with a QB who is used to throwing it around. Gotta put up points in this NFL and be able to score quickly.

Gruden? H3ll no...Tomlin, I’d consider but I’m not sure. It’s been rumored Tepper was one of the Steelers bigwigs that wanted him fired a few years back. Why would Tepper look at him now, with Pittsburg heading for 0-2? And hiring retreads is a crapshoot.

I’d honestly take Wade Phillips. The offense might suck, but nobody would want to play our D. He is too old though, but I would still give him a chance.
