Andrew Luck, Cam Newton and o-lines

Say what you want but there are a lot of similarities between Luck retiring and what we are seeing from Cam Newton.

The Colts refused for years to upgrade their o-line and Luck got pounded weekly. That is why he retired when he did.

The Panthers also refused to upgrade their o-line for years and It has taken a toll on Cam’s body. Everyone thought 2019 was the year that we could finally say the o-line was a strength but it is still a weakness. Williams sucks at LT, Paradis is routinely put on skates. 

If things don’t turn around, Cam retires or doesn’t survive the season all blame can go squarely on the FO and Ron Rivera for not getting the right guys to put in front of Cam.
