I am not going to be overly critical of Fox's decisions last night, but...

IMHO, on our last offensive series in regulation, Fox got back to that old, ultra conservative coaching from last year. Yes, it's Monday morning quarterbacking, but it seems to me like we should have called a couple of pass plays on that final series as opposed to letting Kasay attempt a lonf field goal in icy, cold and windy conditions. The Giants and everyone Panthers' fan just knew that Fox was going to call all runs. It would have been nice to call a play for Jarrett or one of our two talented tight ends (and Jake also could have checked for Smitty or Moose on the same type of play).

The Giants were certainly surprised when Jake found Jarrett (who made a decent catch considering the ball was just a tad behind him). You could see the surprise on the defensive back's face. We probably should have done more of that throughout the game, but definitely on that last drive.

But other than that last series, I really can't complain on the offensive side of the ball. Give it to Williams, and sprinkle in a little Smitty. It has been pretty successful.
