It is obvious. They will not run Cam...even with one yard where he's almost automatic.

I'm not sure who made the decision but it's the end of the season and his career. It's absolutely painful to see.

He is the best dual-threat QB ever imo but will never be more than above average pocket passer

Fug norv

Norv is not the problem, and saying he is doesn't help.

Go back and watch again.  Our O Line was struggling the whole game to get push.  TB stacked the box and put a spy on CMC to prevent him from winning the game.  Norv called plays with multiple levels that allowed Cam to get the ball out quick if there was a rush on, and to look deep if there was time.  We had receivers running open ALL GAME.

Case in point:

Last drive of the game, 2nd and 10 from the TB 11.  Cam has one receiver open underneath, another with TWO STEPS on his defender IN THE END ZONE.  He overthrew the short route and underthrew the end zone.  NORV called the right play, IT WORKED, but his QB failed to execute the offense.

I'm all for placing blame, but place it where it belongs.  In this case, Cam.

But he has never really executed the offense well as a pure pocket passer...the threat of the run was what kept defenses honest

That's why they keyed on CMC and dared him to beat them with his arm

Guess what? He can't. If you're in denial about this then you're in for much more disappointment.

I was praying that they would figure this out but either they are also in denial or waiting for him to get healthy...either way it's not a recipe for winning and the loses will continue unless they change

I would submit to you that if your QB cannot defeat a defense with his arm, you don't have a very good QB.

Man I agree Cam played bad and if CAM played good the game won. If Norv called better run plays and changes the personal in the runs like Scarlet or Armah we probably would win. I mean use him as a decoy with scarlet or Armah.  It's like we have no other Rbs.Offensive line we know cost us drives. It was a full round of blame on the offensive side. Let the other Rbs play.
