I went to the game, I've defended cam and went after where appropriate.  That said, tonight, it died.  Cam can't get it done as a passer, it's just over.  sucks, he has all the physical gifts in the world, and it ends with him not being able to advance that portion of his game.

It's tough to bench a former MVP though.

There is a chance Allen goes into Tom Brady mode when their main starter was out.  He is solid at least, won’t lose you the game.

I dont even see it that way as you do. I would take previous years Cam.. the 59% passer whatever as long as he makes up for it with his legs and is at least able to hit a few big passes here and there and threaten you with the deep ball. You can't possibly think what you see tonight is regular cam newton and this is isn't just him not getting better.

This is a player who's skills have been eroded by injury or ravaged by time even his legs. This is not cam newton at all..
