The End of an Era

I don't know why everyone is so high on Tua. He is an Alabama QB. Its like being a USC QB 15 years ago. If you play with the best talent in the game around you...best line, best WRs, best RBs, the game is easy. Then they end up on a struggling team (which is why they are picking high) and the kids end up sucking. This isn't the year to tank for a QB. Next year is.

I was about to say the exact same thing.  He's better than A.J. McCarron but I'm not convinced he's a top 16 NFL QB.  Not a guy you tank for.

The Panthers had several short yardage 3rd and 4th downs including their final offensive snap. There was a time everyone on the planet knew we'd give the ball to Newton and he'd pick it up. We only gave him the ball once and he came up just short. The final play, they called 22's number. That, more than anything else, would indicate that as the OP stated, we are looking at the end of the era.

I'm honestly kinda depressed over this, not so much about Rivera, kinda figured that would happen if we didn't make the playoffs this year.

But Cam has looked absolutely terrible. The same man who used to carry our whole offense by himself is already looking to be at the end of his career at 30, I knew it would happen one day, but I thought we'd get another 5 years maybe he'd retire at 35.  but right now this is the lowest point I've had as a fan in quit some time. really kinda upset about this

Herbert and Fromm though.  Even without Lawrence, this is a goooood QB draft.  Hell, throw in Burrow as well.

It’s a solid QB draft, we really could use a high pick.

Its why moving forward it was better for us to lose this one than squeak out a meaningless 1 point victory. Come January when looking at draft positioning we would’ve wished we wouldn’t have won this meaningless game

We are awesome after being eliminated.  Usually run the table.

Even had we scored, with 90 seconds they undoubtably at least get 3. Coaches can’t even burn clock right.

It’s just a game bud. Trust me, these guys are gonna go home in their lambos and range rovers to their exquisite homes and sleep with a bag full of money under their heads.

Not being a told you so kind of guy, but I warned everyone after the first shoulder surgery that he would not be the same.

Sadly I didn’t think it would linger so long and appear to never get better.  Possibly a year off will help.

Whaaaat?!?! You didn’t buy the old “cleaned some things out” procedure? A year off is very needed.

The boy has arthritis in his shoulder.  Surgery or not, that can be degenerative.  It doesn't magically go away.  His leg hurt, he doesn't look like he wants to be there.  We've ruined him.  He hasn't scored a TD since week 13 of 2018.

Tua will be a Dolphin most likely.  Next year you go for broke to grab Lawrence and make a godfather offer if you must.

You really think we will win a game with this team? The Bucs just mopped the floor with us.
