If we lose on Thursday, the following things will be true

Now we get the what if threads and pages of what would happen if we lose.

Can we wait until Friday for all this negativity BS.

Personally I think that Cam is going to have a great game, the turnover Gods break our way and Gerald McCoy goes off against his old team.

I expect it to be a contest but Thursday night games have not been particularly kind to away teams historically. It would take a major breakdown for us to lose this game.

If we lose this week, I'm going to be pretty damned bummed out.

Right now, I'm just frustrated with this team, but hopeful moving forward, and thinking that we are rusty, Cam's arm is going to be OK, and that was a good team we played.

However, we lose this week, and the chances of us making the playoffs starts to get pretty grim, as we would already be 0-2 vs. NCF opponents, and we do happen to play in a pretty good division.  We don't make the playoffs, I don't think that Ron survives the season, Hurney won't either, and Cam could be on his way out as well.

Not really looking forward to a rebuild.

Do we play in a pretty good division?  Last year it was the Aint's and three subpar teams.  Its early, but so far, it looks to be more of the same.  We did look better than Tampa or Atlanta at least, but that kind of thing means little at this point in the season.

I had typed "great division", and backspaced a bit.  Too early to tell to be honest, but I don't see Brees and Co. losing a lot of games this season unless they get bit by the injury bug.

But I agree, it very well could be down this season.  Even still being 0-2 in the conference, and 0-1 in the division after 2 home games back to back would be pretty, pretty, pretty, bad.

On the other hand, win and we could be tied for first place.  The Aint's go play at LA, the Falcons have Philly at home.  But I am an optomist.
