B.S. Onside Kick rules really ruin the game

These new horse poo Kickoff rules from 2018 are really ruining any excitement in coming back in a game. There were proposals before the season that made sense with the 4th down election a team could make but here we are in 2019 without a snowballs chance in hell whenever your team is down two scores.

Hell I thought why not have old onside kicks possible one play a game but no one even recommended that one.

Agree it’s pretty much impossible to recover one now

Can't remember where I heard it but someone had the idea that you could choose to kick off or take a 4th and 10 or 15 from fairly deep in your own territory. That would be better than the current rules. Being down 2 scores with less than 3 minutes on the clock means the game is effectively over.

I think they need a new idea.  That and overtime.  The receiving team wins the coin toss and scores a TD--game over.

How about moving the receiving team back five yards but keep the rule that says the kicking team can recover it after ten?
