Panthers Should be favored to win next 5 to 7 games

I know---some of you scholars will say "1 game at a time"  and "on any given Sunday," but this team has rarely had a favorable schedule.  Based on last year and what we saw week 1, it is reasonable to expect the Panthers to be favored in at least five of their next seven games.   If you see a sure loss---which game is it? I don't see one if we clean up the stupid mistakes.

Not a terrifying schedule by any means.  I think the tossups are AFC south matchups.

*edit* I'll throw the niners in there too.  I have a feeling they're going to be a good team this year.  I could see us losing as many as four of those games just as easily as winning all of them.  The only three surefire wins to me are the bucs twice and cards once.

We will absolutely lose to Houston. And if Cam continues to play like the worst quarterback in the league, we could lose any of those other games.

We need better than 17.1 QBR from him, but I will give him a rust game.

I hope this team is 7-1 when they head into GB. However, they have to cut down on the mistakes. Our TO differential has been putrid since the Steelers game.

The way the schedule breaks down, we need to be 6-2 at the mid point.  If we are 5-3 vs that schedule, I do not see us winning the 10 games it will take.

Right. Currently I have the team going 10-6. I had the game yesterday marked down as a loss before the season started. To win the division will have to finally beat the Falcons at home and stop shooting ourselves in the foot against the Seahawks to make 12-4.

Predicting records is a recipe for disappointment, especially with this team's history.

That said I'm bullish on our roster talent. Esp at the skills positions and young defenders. We have the players to compete in the NFC and to be in absolutely every game (unless we play NE) but we need Cam to hit on some of those passes he missed and we need to not waste offensive possessions after turnovers. It's really simple.

So basically we also have the potential to be super disappointing with the mistakes and turnovers precisely bc of our talent lol. Might be a frustrating season lol

At Houston could be pretty damn tough, others really shouldn’t be a problem but this is the NFL so I’m not assuming anything. Maybe Titans are actually really damn good and it’s not just that the Browns are still the Browns. Other matchups on the surface as of right now should be easy wins.
