I think you misinterpreted my post. I'm saying he was probably pissed to see all of the empty seats but knew it was because of the weather. Hence why he would be thinking about wanting a retractable roof the entire game. Nobody blames the fans for not being in their seats in that weather. I get it.

I go to baseball games in the summer that are in the 100s and they are longer than football games. I understand but I also don't whine about the weather. You know what its gonna be before you go and have the ability to prepare for it

we can be assured that after what our owner saw yesterday, he will be relentless in wanting to make it happen

He can pay for it himself then.  Soldier Field was built in the 20s and Lambeau in the 50s.  Both renovated, sure, but both exposed to far worse elements.  Same with Kansas City and Buffalo-renovated dumps from the 70s-exposed to far worse elements.  Miami was also built a decade before BOA (big time state of the art in 96) and with renovations is hosting the Super Bowl this year.  Simply put-BOA works and the Panthers aren’t going anywhere.

If Charlotte builds a new stadium in the next decade it had better be for MLB (Rays, A’s, Orioles, White Sox, or expansion)- 81 games a year provide far more bang for the buck to a taxpayer than 8 regular reason, 2 preseason, 20 or so soccer even with MLS, and maybe one Super Bowl and Final Four).

Unless HE’S paying ALL of it, there will be tens of thousands of pissed off PSL owners losing their investment and hundreds of thousands of taxpayers enraged at the gluttonous insanity.
