To run Cam or not to run Cam

Obviously everyone knows that when Cam is a threat to run our offense looks 1000x better. For whatever reason Turner decided to put him in bubble wrap and keep him in the pocket.

Im not sure that Cam can be effective as just a pure pocket passer. Seems that when he runs he gets in a rhythm and it helps his passing.

Here’s a stat when Cam runs 3x or less;

We are 2-11

There were a couple designed runs that went nowhere. I wonder if they had a spy on Cam and Norv recognized it and realized this wasn't the day to unleash him, especially coming off a foot sprain. But hopefully Cam gets more opportunities here on out. I'm thinking Tampa's unintimidating D is a good place to test his legs.

Cam running is what gets him hype and gets him really into the game.  How many times in the past has he ran for a first down, jumped up and done a little shimmy, and gotten hype as hell?  He just seems subdued and calm yesterday, not the normal Cam running around and talking smack all day.
