Agree 100% with OP

It's almost disturbing how negative some people on here are sometimes...

It's why a lot of good posters fade away. It's foolish to be a homer about everything, but some people on here seem to actively revel and want the team to do bad. I will never understand that kind of fandom.

I'm with you.  I mean you had teams that were getting blown the F out yesterday and we lost by 3 to the defending NFC champs....I don't know how the rest of the season will play out, but I'm not subscribing to "the sky is falling, Cam sucks, etc." theories after week 1....

I’m in the same boat. While still not sold that the shoulder was a minor procedure like we were being fed, I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt here. I thought the defense for the most part played well against a tough team that is difficult to match up with. Can definitely looked rusty but overall played decent enough. Line held up pretty well overall and did great creating running lanes. I expected a loss honestly and think we will improve.

oh yeah that oline needs credit....at least for now.

Cam was protected decently(even though fowler was getting pressure and outside of where plays got blown before they even started)  but they paved gigantic holes for mccaffrey. Go back and watch. A lot of times mccaffrey is not touched until after he already has 3 or 4 yards. The run blocking is way better than pass blocking by a mile.
