What's up with all these hating on Cam threads?

Either he's the savior or he's the downfall. Newsflash you can't have it both ways. You can't say he didn't do anything to win it himself when he's had plenty of games he's won the game despite of others 'losing' or trying to lose the game. If you're going to say that then you have to count the games he "did" something to win it. I'm critical of Cam, will always be but the thing that I recognize and have for years now is that without him, this team goes no where. He gives us the best chance to win if he's 100 percent.

I'm not worried about the bucs, They have a short week as well and to be honest they are worse off than us. They got beat harder than us when we were right in it. The problem with this team is shooting itself in the foot and to be honest it's all the coaching. We were out coached more than anything. all the mental mishaps and mistakes can be and should be traced back to coaching.

We have to stay in the present moment

this is 2019

im simply saying, and I didnt use the word savior, I said warrior ... two very different things

I do not have the faith in him I used to...I would not be surprised if he calls it quits like Luck

i simply see no passion in him. He has other interests

Cam needs to quit with the b u l l s h i t and play to his full potential. I'm one of the biggest Cam Newton fan out here. There is no more excuses. He is the $100 million face of the franchise. If we lose it's all on him. Because he suppose to be the leader. That silly s h i t  he wears is not a good look from your number one leader. Right now he is all over the place. Hopefully he can get his self together. So its not hate its just people that see him as a generational talent is pissed at the way he is handling his football career as of late. Cam can do alot better if he wants to.

The dude played better than the QB opposite of him against a team that was just in the Super Bowl, in his first game back from surgery, and was a missed tackle or missed field goal away from none of these threads existing. Dude threw for 65% accuracy, which does not calculate tips or drops, and he moved the chains on multiple occasions. I am not some staunch defender of Cam either, he deserves criticism when he messed up, and he had a couple of moments in this game, but to claim he is done or he sucks is such a brash overreaction. This whole narrative that he can't throw a deep ball, when his arm was clearly just fine is annoying, we did not dial up deep balls because the last thing we want is for Cam to get buried on a seven step drop against one of the best defensive lines in football. We went toe to toe with a top 3 team in the NFL, and clearly showed we are ready for anyone, you guys need to step away from the message board and take a xanax or something, and make sure not to come in here after Thursday nights game glowing Cam up if you made one of these stupid 'doom and gloom' Cam threads.

Damn right

I said it yesterday, Cams not the same mentally.....it could be his shoulder issues, it could 1000 other things too, but something just ain’t right.  I honestly think his heart is no longer in the game and he is just riding out his contract.

That 2015 sb and 2016 season(where the whole nfl had a hit out on him) fuged him up mentally. The nfl is partially responsible and Panthers front office is also.

It is what it is at this point.....

Cam is coming off a very bad year where he was injured.  First game back he missed a lot of easy throws that most average college QBs could make, much less an NFL starting QB.  The criticism is earned and he'll continue to hear it from many until he plays better.

This is why QBs get paid the big bucks . . .they get praised when they play well and criticized when they don't.

So if your assessment for guy that got hurt last year had surgery in the off-season and worked his ass off to be ready opening day and barely played in the pre season is "bullshiting" then i question your fandom. Cam hasnt been ABLE to play to his full potential since last season its never a easy road back from what he had to overcome and blasting him for one game is overboard, lets say he gives you what you want and gets himself hurt again we are still up poo creek and he gets all the blame regardless for not "taking care of himself" and im sure he knows that and is trying to settle himself in mentally so i dont know what the endgame is with your statement. Think about it from another perspective for 5 minutes.

I'm a fan of Cam. I want the Panthers to succeed. So that means I want Cam to succeed also. Regardless he has to do better than what he is doing right now in year 9. Like the previous post mentioned by jtm he missed alot of easy throws that the average college QB could've made. I hope he can get his self together. And no! a person is not a racist for criticizing Cam. I'm black and that has nothing to do with it. I could care less on what outfit he wears. I just want to see the Panthers win, win, win, and win some more...Keep Pounding

Do you ppl watch any other team play??

Do you watch other QBs play??

You act like no other QB overthrows or under throws balls..

Geoff was just as rusty as Cam the difference is they didn't have as many bone crushing TO.. All their fumbles seem to come back to them.. But Almost every QB yesterday had a overthrown or underthrown balls .

Cam was 25th in passer rating Week 1 out of every QB who had at least 10 attempts.  Geoff was 27th.  The conclusion by any rational individual is they both played like poo and well below the average starter that week.  But then again rationality isn't the strong suit of the Camstans.
