What's up with all these hating on Cam threads?

Actually, the biggest play he missed was Samuel wide open on 3rd down after the Bradberry interception. We had the momentum and within a bad punt and two plays later, the Rams were basically right where they were before the INT against a defense that had to go right back in.

We go down and score and all of a sudden the Rams are playing from behind. That overthrow (wasn’t close) was the dagger because I’m pretty sure we went right back to 10 points down instead of maybe 4 points up or at least tied.

Cam didn’t have a horrible day, but at one point he was 16-21 with a couple overthrows. Honestly, we had like 1 or 2 plays where the defense made plays. The other Cam incompletions were bad throws. After that, he definitely fell off and was missing throws much worse.

That’s my frustration also. I get that Cam is coming off surgery but those kind of bad throws can’t happen anymore. If he is to be a great QB that play must be made. We win that game if Samuel gets a good ball.

The playclock stuff has to stop. Surely Tepper has noticed this. Someone has to take some accountability for it. Why do we waste timeouts because of the stupid playclock.

If we had another time out we might not have had to onside kick.

lol his shoulder was being held together by paperclips and bubblegum last year and he still wanted to play but he somehow lacks grit

You can't win with these people.  Their mental image of Cam Newton is his post-game attire.  Just like they thought we should walk all over the Rams because their head coach is a millennial snowflake who needs a safe space and our coach is a military background toughguy who played for the 85 Bears.

I seen an old woman on Facebook comments say that he needs to get in the playbook and watch film.  I laughed and responded All or Nothing.  There are are multiple segments with him watching film by himself, with other QBs, coaches, and Greg Olsen.  Or you could just be really loud and uninformed.  She started talking about clothing.  You right man, cannot win with these people.

I logged back in for you. Though we have been at odds, you are far more loyal than any of these mouth breathers stinking up the joint right now.

Are you on the Moore train again yet? He has immense talent and potential but that fumble reminded me way too much of that costly turnover against Seattle some years ago. He needs a confidence boost against the Bucs. But there's no excuses. As much as I want this to be a "get right game" so to speak, I'm reminded that the Bucs have surprised us in years past. Our secondary could definitely get the opportunity to force some turnovers. I just hope the OL makes some strides. The back end of our schedule could prove to be quite brutal.

Moore’s fumbles are brutal. I hope he fixes that poo, because you can have a great, impactful game but if it’s constantly marred by key turnovers that contribute to L’s, people are not going to be real happy about it.

That first one did it to me yesterday.  I was super hype about how the first drive was going.  They were lost all over the field like the first Bucs game last year.  Then after a routine catch, you get the ball Peanut punched out over another yard and a half.  Took the wind all out of my sails for a possession.  The thing is people are watching film.  Some guys, people don't even try that stuff because they don't have a history of it.  Everybody is going to be looking to strip him.  I hope he works on it too.

The dude played better than the QB opposite of him against a team that was just in the Super Bowl, in his first game back from surgery, and was a missed tackle or missed field goal away from none of these threads existing. Dude threw for 65% accuracy, which does not calculate tips or drops, and he moved the chains on multiple occasions. I am not some staunch defender of Cam either, he deserves criticism when he messed up, and he had a couple of moments in this game, but to claim he is done or he sucks is such a brash overreaction. This whole narrative that he can't throw a deep ball, when his arm was clearly just fine is annoying, we did not dial up deep balls because the last thing we want is for Cam to get buried on a seven step drop against one of the best defensive lines in football. We went toe to toe with a top 3 team in the NFL, and clearly showed we are ready for anyone, you guys need to step away from the message board and take a xanax or something, and make sure not to come in here after Thursday nights game glowing Cam up if you made one of these stupid 'doom and gloom' Cam threads.

Good old Huddle. The pro-Cam propaganda never ceases to amaze me.

Man sometimes the defense just makes a fantastic play. The guy landed a perfect punch on the nose of the football. I didn’t see Moore being careless there but then again, he can be more careful.

"At some point something had to happen," he said of the game. "That was kind of the mindset. I feel like I was gonna do everything in my power to kind of get it going. It felt really bad at times, but it ended up opening up. We had to keep staying course, keep fighting."

His resolve is what stuck with teammates afterward. It endears him to them. As does his confidence.

"He carries himself with a chip on his shoulder, not to the point of being arrogant or cocky, but it's a good thing because that's why he was able to do what he did today," said right guard J.R. Sweezy. "He's going to continue to grow and get better and he's going to be a top quarterback in this league in no time."

More like norv/cam must be scared to. I mean not be funny, but he Is still overthrowing guys. So ummm his arm strength can't be to bad. He missed Olsen and Samuel on intermediate/deep passes from I saw.

I'm not gonna say he played terrible like everyone else but he missed key EASY layup passes and had that one signature "wtf were u looking at" interception he has every 2-3 games.

Cam biggest problem is he fugs up in the most  important/clutch times like not converting wide open 3rd down passes or throwing a int with 6 mins left to the game. If he would stop that annoying trend he wouldn't get as much blame as he does. Dude starts out good then  messes up at the worst moments in the game a lot of times. I dont know why he does it but it needs to STOP.

Simple answer to OP: We have a lot of closet racist/"conservative" fans.

Horseshet...Cam isn’t right and if he was I would be the first to praise the guy.  He hasn’t been right for some time now.  We cannot give him a big contract extension.  Just can’t IMO.

I think the frustrations with Cam are warranted. But at the same time, Norv Turner has to do better putting this offense in positions to win. After that interception by I think bradberry, late in the 4th our answering drive lasted a whopping 2-3 mins on a 3 and out with the first play call being a QB power. Any OC with any sense in the history of football should've been salivating and taking some shots at that Rams D after a crucial turnover by their O and their backs against the wall.  The blame game in this always ends up on the QB and rightfully so, as they are who dictates the success of that side of the ball. Cam missed a handful of Throws that could've changed the game. I'm optimistic though as I expected a much worse game from him.  I just think we all need to see our offense be what it is capable of, we always have higher expectations that never seemed to get fully tapped into. And who else touches the ball every single snap. When do you see Cam draw a defense offsides? Or Cam being aware, and urgent at the line of scrimmage. My only complaints with Cam is his urgency. And I think we will see it improve.
