We have a CHANCE at the playoffs.  And trust me I HATE to keep harping on Cam, but We've got Atlanta Twice, Saints, twice and we'll probably split with Tampa bay.  There will be moments in all of those games were we just CAN'T lose.  3rd and 8 we're down 3 in Atlanta just outside of field goal range and Cam has to fit a ball in to Greg Olsen.  Are you confident that he makes that throw?  I'm not

I am.  Cam Newton will be fine, he’s better than any alternative available. We are implementing a new system. Atlanta is not a concern. After the Bye week it gets rough but we should have the system down by then.

The offense fumbled on the first drive, they fumbled on the lateral pass. Cam threw a INT. Luke created a turnover which was a bullshit call. Bradbury had an INT and almost had another. 

Todd didn’t run well at all the entire first half and didn’t really start to turn it on till the 4th quarter when LA didn’t want to do anything but run the clock out and ran more TE sets. They also caused I believe 1 or 2 fumbles that they didn’t recover. I remember multiple times Goff had very little time to throw and we got that with 3 man rushes. 

Im not sure what more you want from the defense. They caused the game to be closer than it should have been. You mention we should have the better front four, the Rams have Aaron Donald who registered, what? 1 tackle today? They had 3 sacks to our 1 and some of those sacks where when they knew we had to sit back and throw the ball.

1) I don't recall seeing a single 3-4 look all game.  The wrinkle was that the team played some 3-2-6 dime-ish (they called it "Bolt" defense (which they didn't play at all last year) along with mostly 4-3 looks as their base defense.  Burns said after the game the 3-4 would come.

2) The defense got gashed in the 2nd Half, but they played lights out in the 1st half.  The offense let them down.  You have to score points to beat a team like the Rams- you're not going to stop them drive after drive.  We scored quite a bit in the 2nd half, but it was catch-up the whole game b/c of the failure on the 1st 2 promising drives to get points.  That ultimately was the difference in the game.  We got some unlucky bounces and questionable calls, but you can't leave points off the board and beat a team like the Rams.

If you can't put up more than 3 points in a half, at home, in this era, you don't deserve to win a football game.
